Job summary
37.5 hours per week. An opportunity has arisen to appoint a Hotel Services Team Leader, within our ward based Hotel Services team, to lead and work as part of a team of staff who provide a catering and clinical cleaning service.

Applications are welcomed from enthusiastic individuals with a flexible approach as this position will involve covering various shifts from 7am to 7pm including weekends and bank holidays.
You will be managing a team of ward based Hotel Services staff. This post is based at Mount Gould Hospital. Please contact the Hotel Services team for exact location details.
As the first point of contact it is essential you possess exemplary interpersonal skills which will be utilised in dealing with a wide variety of people and situations. You must be able to organise workloads and rosters to ensure service needs are met.
You will require a good level of communication and be able to evidence supervisory skills. Good people skills and the ability to work as a member of a team are essential.
Main duties of the job

The post holder will liaise with support services / contractors.
The post holder will manage a Hotel Services ward based team.
The main elements of the role are ensuring the management and delivery of cleaning, catering and minor maintenance, together with other specified tasks to meet patient needs, as determined with the Hotel Services Manager / Ward Manager with the aim of delivering a high quality service for patients, the public and staff. In addition to providing the management of a ward based team, you will be expected to work as part of the ward team providing a cleaning and catering service.
