Job summary
Volunteering is a fantastic way to learn new skills, meet new people and to give something back to the local community. We have several different volunteering opportunities throughout the organisation, from meeting and greeting people visiting our clinics to assisting in administrative roles. Whether you have a personal connection to Nottingham CityCare or just want to give something back to your community, we want to hear from you.

You will need to be 16 years or over and be able to commit to volunteering for a minimum of two hours per week. Our volunteering roles can be offered on a short and long-term basis.

- Meet and Greet Volunteer
- Breastfeeding Peer Support Volunteer
- Rehabilitation Support Volunteer
We're hosting stalls at key locations across the city to speak to community members about the benefits of volunteering, the roles available and how to apply.

Main duties of the job
Role Description:
Our reception teams at Bulwell, Mary Potter and Clifton Health Centres need volunteers to help with a variety of roles which will improve patient and staff experience. You will engage with visitors and patients as they arrive and help get them to their appointment or area they are visiting.
Time Commitment: 2- 4 hours, any morning or afternoon. Monday to Friday 8am 5pm
Would suit:
Someone who is outgoing, and a people person. Patience and empathy are essential qualities.

Dress code:
You will be issued with a Volunteer uniform, ID badge and volunteer lanyard which you must wear at all times to show that you are volunteering. All volunteers will be expected to follow our Dress code policy.
All Volunteers will require a DBS check.
