An exciting opportunity has arisen at Nottingham CityCare Partnership to join
our senior operational leadership team following the promotion of our current
Assistant Operations Director.
You
will be a key member of the Care
Group triumvirate working alongside the Deputy Director and Assistant
Clinical Director, being
accountable for the operational leadership and management of the services
within the Care Group.

Main duties of the job
In partnership with the Deputy Director and
Assistant Clinical Director, responsible for the management of clinical and
related services within the Care Group, to ensure the provision of sustainable
and high-quality services.
Working
as a triumvirate, ensure delivery of the relevant objectives within our organisational
strategy to meet the needs of our patients and staff whilst responding to the
evolving requirements of system partners.
Lead on the achievement of the performance, finance and
people metrics in the Care Group in accordance with key targets, contracts and
outcomes.
To ensure the services report in a timely manner
supporting the sustainability of the organisation and its ability to operate
within its financial budget.
Build, develop and nurture strong relationships
with service users, external partners including ICS partners, commissioners,
and third sector organisations, and internal stakeholders, including corporate
teams, to deliver both CityCares and the Care Group long-term strategies.

- To work in a triumvirate, with the Deputy Director and Assistant Clinical Director, being accountable for the operational leadership and performance of all services within the Care Group.
- To provide senior operational management and leadership to ensure the effective delivery of contracted services within the defined resource
- To support the delivery of CityCares strategy.
- To lead on clinical service and workforce development and transformation ensuring services are fit for the future and enhance the offer presented by CityCare as a whole.
- To drive and performance manage the implementation of service and workforce delivery plans.
- To play a key role in the development and implementation of plans, innovations and initiatives presented by CityCares partnerships with the wider system.
- To ensure the uninterrupted provision of services to service users, commissioners, and stakeholders,

- To lead and co-ordinate the development of service plans within the Care Group to meet the requirements of the performance and planning frameworks
- To work with the Deputy Director of Operations and Assistant Clinical Director, system partners and the Integrated Care System to influence the integration of services reflecting local and national policy direction
- To ensure timely reporting of data, outputs, outcomes and information to meet contractual, governance and company regulatory requirements
- Analyse and make judgements on highly complex data, comparing trends and proactively identifying issues to ensure provision of safe and effective service delivery
- Responsible for ensuring performance, finance and people targets are achieved, with regularly reviewed recovery action plans in place where required
- Attendance at the monthly Accountability and Performance Framework meetings to provide assurance to the Executive Directors on performance and risk for each of the services in the Care Group in delivering the targets, plans and objectives. Where performance is deteriorating, support and remedial actions will be agreed to address the issues and ensure the delivery of safe and effective patient care
