Join Nottingham CityCare's highly regarded MOSAIC Service (Musculoskeletal, Orthopaedic, Spinal Pain and Integrated CFS) as an Advanced Practitioner Physiotherapist.
In this role, you'll deliver advanced MSK assessment, diagnosis, first-line treatment and decision-making, including investigations and referrals. You will contribute to improving patient outcomes, developing the service, and supporting junior clinicians. Opportunities include:
- Orthopaedic triage of secondary-care referrals

Job Purpose
- Provide clinical expertise undertaking the assessment, planning and development of treatment programmes for clients with a wide variety of complex physical needs in a clinic setting.
- Progress and request investigations to facilitate diagnosis and choice of treatment regime, understanding the information limitations derived from these and the relative sensitivity and specificity of particular tests diagnostic services such as x-rays and blood test, and interpret and act on results to aid diagnosis and the management plans of patients.
- Deliver programmes of supported patient self-management, in ways that facilitate behavioural change, optimise individuals' physical activity, mobility, fulfilment of personal goals and independence, and that minimise the need for pharmacological interventions
- Be responsible for continuing the on-going development of high standards of clinical practice and expertise within the service, contributing to implementation of specific changes to practice and service protocols.

- To be responsible for the delivery of the MOSAIC service for clients referred by GPs, other health professionals, social services and self-referral.
- To supervise less experienced physiotherapists, support staff, and students. To supervise, educate and assess the performance of undergraduate physiotherapy students as required, ensuring to the standard of practice and teaching meets the standards set by the degree level qualification.

- To work in an extended scope including but not exclusive to:
