Job summary
Navigo Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) is a mental health and emotional wellbeing service for children & young people in North East Lincolnshire. The service provides a comprehensive multi-disciplinary community mental health and emotional wellbeing service for children and young people, including those in vulnerable groups. An exciting opportunity has arisen to work in our Core CAMHS team. This post would suit someone who is passionate about providing high quality, trauma informed care and has previous experience of working with children and young people, although there is scope to support the post holder to develop their skills and experience so we welcome applications from trainees who are due to qualify in September 2026.. A preceptorship role band 7 to 8a could also be considered.

Main duties of the job
This post will support children, young people and their families open to our Core CAMHS team, delivering specialist assessment, psychological therapy and interventions for young people across the age range and ability range. The post will also deliver consultation, supervision and lead on service development projects in the team. The Core CAMHS team are committed to working with families using a trauma-informed approach. The team are working towards integration of the Attachment Regulation Competency model as an anchor point for our assessments, support and clinical decision making. Within the Core team we have an established Eating Disorder MDT to offer special support for children, young people and their families presenting with an Eating Disorder. The Eating Disorder MDT also provide consultation and supervision to Core team Practitioners working with children with disordered eating. The Core team are also currently developing their Kinship Care pathway, supporting the Kinship Care
