Job summary
The
Communications and Marketing Assistant plays a key role in supporting Navigo's
storytelling, digital presence and community engagement. Working closely with
the Communications Lead, you'll help plan and deliver creative content that
reflects the voices, experiences and achievements of our staff and service
users.
This
is an active, on the ground role. You'll spend time across Navigo services and
trading arm locations, building relationships, spotting content opportunities
and capturing photos, videos and stories that bring our work to life. You'll
help deliver campaigns, support media activity, update digital channels and
ensure our brand is represented consistently and professionally.
Please note the earliest start date for this position is 01st June 2026.
Main duties of the job
The Communications and
Marketing Assistant supports the creation and delivery of high quality content
across Navigo's social media, websites, campaigns and digital channels. You'll
gather stories and updates from services, produce engaging posts and videos,
support media relations, assist with events and help maintain a strong,
positive public profile for Navigo and its trading arms.
The role involves regular
travel across Navigo sites to capture photography, video and human interest
stories; supporting the management of digital platforms; helping deliver
marketing campaigns; and contributing to internal communications. You'll also assist
with basic coordination tasks, maintain organised content libraries and help
monitor the performance of digital activity.
This role is ideal for someone
who is creative, confident working independently, and passionate about telling
meaningful stories that reflect Navigo's values and community impact.
