Job summary
An exciting
opportunity has arisen for the position of Administration Team lead.
The
established team of administrators will be supported and guided by the
post-holder and
the
post-holder will co-ordinate and supervise a team of different grades of
administrators working within the core Administration Team at NHS Talking
Therapies. The post-holder will ensure
robust supervision for the team is carried out and operational procedures are
in place and the post holder will take operational responsibility for them and
for the allocation of work.
Main duties of the job
This is an exciting and proven role within the
Administration service and is dependent on the post-holder having strong
communication, leadership, organisational and excellent administrative
skills. The post-holder will supervise, allocate and
monitor administration tasks and distribution of work to other members of the
administration team ensuring the administration team deliver a high quality and
comprehensive administration service.
The post holder will also share their administration knowledge and
skills and will also be a key player in supporting and actioning administration
tasks by undertaking general administration duties within the requirement of
the team. The post-holder will work
closely with the Administration Manager of the Business Unit and the Clinical
Management Team within NHS Talking Therapies service.

- Educated to GCSE level grade A to C or equivalent including Mathematics and English Language
- RSA/OCR Grade III Typing/Word
- Processing standard
- Able to demonstrate knowledge, experience and training
Desirable
- ECDL Qualification
- Supervisory trained
Experience

- Maintaining databases and spreadsheets
- Previous NHS secretarial/ administrative experience and knowledge of hospital administration procedures
- Previous experience at working at Secretary/Administration level with supervisory responsibilities
- Proven ability to direct and lead staff
Desirable
- Experience/willingness to undertake training in use of electronic systems
- Experience of both leading and working within an administrative team
