Job summary
Are you a professional with expert knowledge of the local
offer and have experience of working with children and young people with
complex difficulties? This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is
passionate about ensuring there is effective signposting for families of
children with additional needs. You would be supporting the coordination of the
neurodevelopment service. We are a lovely team providing neurodevelopmental
assessments for children and young people. We developed a new model last year
which has received much recognition of good practice and have been shortlisted
for a national award. We are an innovative, supportive team who place great
importance on staff wellbeing and continuous personal development.
Main duties of the job
To support
the Neurodevelopmental Service in coordinating the neurodevelopmental
referrals, clinical screening meetings
and providing specialist advice, guidance and training to
parent/carers/professionals and young people.
Will support
in the effective coordination of referrals received for the Neurodevelopmental
service; ensure effective signposting; chair the multiagency clinical screening
meetings; and work alongside and support the team and key professionals to
implement the Neurodevelopmental pathway process.
To be the
contact for advice and guidance relating to the Neurodevelopmental Service and
referral process for parents, carers, professionals and young people.
