Job summary
Do you have a passion for improving the lives of children, young people and their families? Are you a qualified professional with experience of working with children, young people and their families to help improve their mental health?
Navigo CAMHS (Young Minds Matter) are looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated individual who leads by example to join our core team. We are looking for someone who can provide a high standard of care to children, young people, families and carers through therapeutic interventions, care coordination and supporting the network around the children and family.
Main duties of the job
The successful application will join a team of experienced clinicians who provide a high standard of specialist clinical care to children and young people with complex mental health presentations. They will undertake mental health assessments and provide safe and effective evidence-based treatment to children and families. A creative, flexible approach is required to ensure individual needs are met using a trauma informed approach.
Interventions will be provided through group and individual therapy alongside working with and coordination of key adults in the child and young persons life.
They will offer liaison, consultation, and training to universal services, including schools, GPs, health and social care professionals. This includes the provision of a professional advice line.
Manage delegated caseload and supervise other staff as required in the provision of direct/indirect care. Deputise for team lead as required, according to experience.
