Job summary
NHS Talking Therapies North East Lincolnshire service is for people with common mental health problems registered to a GP within North East Lincolnshire. The service became operational in February 2008 and since 2009 NHS Talking Therapies (previously known as Open Minds). We are looking for an enthusiastic, skilled and dedicated High Intensity CBT therapist to join the team. The successful applicant will work between office base, community space and some remote working. The role offers variety and comes with the opportunity to do further top up training. THIS IS NOT A FULLY REMOTE POST.
You must have a Post-graduate diploma in High Intensity Psychological Interventions and be an accredited member of the BABCP to be shortlisted for interview
Main duties of the job
Assess clients for suitability for CBT or other Talking Therapies. Provide clinical assessment and treatment to service users experiencing common mental health problems as per NICE guidelines.
Work closely with other members of the team and organisation to ensure clients are receiving the right care maintaining the stepped care approach.
Access regular clinical and managerial supervision as per Talking Therapies Policy and BABCP guidelines.
Keep up to date with specialist knowledge of latest theoretical and service delivery models/development.
Manage own caseload and time effectively.
Keep up to date and accurate records at all times, using the services clinical system.
Attend all relevant CPD courses in line with identified professional objectives.
Ensure that information for both patients and staff are kept in line with Data Protection Act (1998)
