Due to a promotion an incredibly rare and exciting opportunity has arisen to take on the role of Clinical Team Manager for our amazing award winning Assertive Outreach Team (AOT). AOT is an incredible team to work in with a stable workforce hence why this opportunity is so rare. The team bring clinical excellence, compassion and professionalism to every thing they touch and provide their Service User's with the best care and treatment possible in often very difficult and challenging situations.
The Team provide a traditional old school approach to Assertive Outreach based on the model developed from the Mental Health Policy Implementation Guide published in 2001. providing Psychosocial Interventions to Service Users in their own homes.
Main duties of the job
You will provide clinical and managerial leadership to the Assertive Outreach Team, holding your own small but complex caseload and providing live supervision, guidance and support for the teams clinical staff and providing psychosocial interventions to service users. You will be expected to lead and support implementation of any needed recommendations from the CQC Special review of Notts mental health trust.
You will need to be kind, compassionate and organised, you will need a sense of humour and resilience is a must as you will form strong relationships with Service Users who can be challenging but are ultimately rewarding to work with. You will represent the Assertive Outreach Team at Local, Regional and National meetings and be an advocate for the team and for the service model.
