Job summary

This is great opportunity to join our dedicated Business team within Navigo Corporate Services. The role supports business units across clinical and non-clinical service areas, liaising with service area leads to drive service improvement, and provides efficient and effective support services in respect of business development and project management. Projects are diverse from developing tenders to celebrating success, and all are connected with the enhancement of Navigo operations.

This support will include, for example:

- Working collaboratively to formulate sound business proposals & costings for review

- Implementing systems to support business development incl. project management and support with service operationalisation.

- Co-ordinating tendering exercises and seeking out opportunities

- Identifying suitable grant funding opportunities and supporting colleagues to write & submit bids

- Ensuring Navigo is represented, promoted, and celebrated locally and nationally

Main duties of the job

The role will provide business development and project management support throughout Navigo, including:

- Supporting colleagues across Navigo and NEL partners with the development of ideas/innovations aimed at improving service delivery

- Supporting the development of business cases

- Developing delivery plans with key partners within services

- Playing a key role in the successful implementation of service transformation

- Co-ordinating the engagement of key stakeholders, including service users and carers to ensure proposals and co-produced

- Writing tenders with colleagues and seeking out grant funding and tendering opportunities

- Providing high quality project management support

- Supporting the development and delivery of Navigos trading arms

- Providing regular project updates across various forums

- Using complex spreadsheets and databases to record all related activities

Providing periodic updates to the Membership Board and HCP and other forums regarding the Programme of Work

Working collaboratively with the Senior Corporate Affairs Manager of Navigo to develop and nurture relationships with potential partners, including within the third and corporate sectors.

Ensure service user, community membership and experts by experience are actively engaged in all projects and service developments

  • At least 5 years experience of working within a large complex organisation.
  • Proven track record of successful project management
  • Proven track record of successful tender production
  • Knowledge of maintaining / setting up administration and filing systems
  • Knowledge of health and safety issues in a complex environment and the implications of poor compliance
  • Proven track record of achieving targets for generating income through commercial products and services
  • Proven track record of success with attaining grants, tenders and awards

Desirable

  • Attained Management Qualification to at least Level 4
  • Has an evidence Portfolio
  • Experience of working with local health & social care providers
  • Experience of working with Mental Health Services
