Since 2009 NHS North East Lincolnshire Talking Therapies service has provided low and high intensity Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, EMDR, couples psychotherapy, Counselling for Depression and Interpersonal Therapy. The clinical team consists of High Intensity Therapists, Counsellors, Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners, CWP, Interpersonal Therapists and Employment Advisors.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, skilled and dedicated individual qualified as a Childrens and Young people psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (CWP) or PWP to work specifically with 16 - 25 year olds. The successful CWP or PWP will work within the CYP pathway offering assessment and low level intervention to people ages 16-25. You will support the development of this pathway with other clinicians. The post initially involves delivering these low intensity CBT interventions in a range of settings - including groups, individual and via remote.
Main duties of the job
Interviews will be conducted by NHS Talking Therapies Service Manager, CYP lead and a service user representative. A short role play will be required.
Candidate must be registered or awaiting registration with BABCP or BACP. We will accept applications from current trainees due to qualify in the next 3 months.
The closing date for this post is 5th June 2024. Interviews will take place at Navigo House, shortly after closing date.
NHS Talking Therapies provides a hybrid of both remote therapy and treatment in person, with clinicians working a proportion of their time from the office, community areas such as GP's and an option to work maximum of two days from home.
