CONTEXT BEHIND THE ROLE:

Navigo Health and Social Care have developed various trading arms that address gaps and opportunities in service delivery that are not financed by NHS statutory funding. All our trading arms are developed as stand-alone enterprises with Navigo acting as the parent company and operating within the Navigo ethos on a not-for-profit basis. All trading arm employees are employed on a commercial contract with our trading company Nurtrio, and all profits go into developing and/or enhancing mental health services. As such there are no dividends for shareholders/annual bonuses etc.

We are committed to the prevention and reduction of suicidality and have joined forces with CAMS Care USA to secure exclusive rights to deliver their established and trusted CAMS Care Training Framework across UK territories (incl. N Ireland) trading as Navigo Cams Care UK (NCCUK). CAMS ( Collaborative Assessment and Management of Suicidality) is a proven intervention for suicidality in the USA. NCCUK has been operating for 2 years as part of Phase 1 development activity, developing the in-house systems and protocols to support the launch & ongoing business development & service delivery of the CAMS product. Phase 2 development is scheduled to launch April 2024 and we are seeking a pro-active and committed Business Manager to work with us to take the business to the next level, further developing the infrastructure and client base. Ongoing duties will include maintaining and developing client relationships, providing guidance and advice on availability of courses and pricing, and ensuring our client organisations needs are being met on an ongoing basis and to expected standards.

You will work with the NCCUK senior management team to consolidate and grow operations and geographical reach in line with business planning and developing opportunities, and ensure all reporting is consistent, accurate and timely for internal needs and our hosts at CAMS Care USA.

You will also work with teams to align NCCUK with other developing Navigo programmes to ensure a robust and joined-up offer, and work with our Communications Team to establish clear and consistent messages about the detail of our offer.

There is also a robust clinical research programme in place, supporting opportunities to develop our reach across the Health and Social Care sector and education sectors.

You will initially work with support from the Business Team and longer term, provide supervision to an administrative staff member. We aim to offer our customers a high-quality experience at a competitive price while maintaining our social sector ethos & sensibilities. NCCUK has exclusive rights to deliver the CAMS Care Training Framework in UK territories and is a relatively new product to the UK Health & Social Care sector. As such it operates within a competitive arena of other suicidality prevention and reduction training, and will win business through promoting its proven efficacy, and high-quality training, delivered by practising clinicians. As part of a growing evidence base and research programme, you will work proactively with Navigo Comms to spread the word about the NCCUK ethos, liaise with Research Leads and NCCUK Senior Management Team to lead on social media content, identifying opportunities to promote our message, and liaise with all parties to ensure communications about NCCUK activity and research is appropriate & timely.

You will combine excellent NCCUK product/service knowledge, sales skills, and interpersonal skills to succeed in embedding NCCUK as the premier service provider of suicidality prevention and reduction training in the UK.

You will be expected to develop an understanding of the NCCUK financial position and targets, and work with the team to co-develop an action/delivery plan with strategies & approaches to business development, supported by Navigo Business Team.
