Job summary
The CPG works in partnership with Navigo and
Faraway, a Peer-Led Organisation, to deliver Neurodiversity Services for people
with Learning Disabilities and Autistic people within North East Lincolnshire
and across the Humber TCP. These
services aim to meet the unique needs of these populations through the
provision of various Assessment and Treatment, Intervention and Support
Pathways using a Psychology-led, Multi-Disciplinary, needs-led, person-centred
approach and Peer-Led Offer. The
Adult Neurodiversity Services (ANDS) based at Val Waterhouse Centre in Grimsby
comprise of an Intensive Support Team (IST),
Forensic Outreach Liaison Service (FOLS), Adult Autism Service (AAS) and
an ADHD Service. Faraway is also based here and works in partnership with the
statutory services.
You will join a well-established specialist community
service within the Adult Neurodiversity Services in North East Lincolnshire (NEL) and to
provide specialist Clinical/Forensic
Psychology input to support service users within the Forensic Outreach
Liaison Service (FOLS).

This is an exciting
opportunity for either a Clinical or Forensic Psychologist to join a
well-established Community Forensic Outreach Liaison Service (FOLS). You will
work within a psychology-led, multi-disciplinary team that uses Positive
Behaviour Support, Active Support and Trauma Informed Care approaches within a
community forensic setting.
A relevant professional
qualification and HCPC registration together with a good working knowledge of
the Mental Health Act and health and social care pathways is essential as well
as experience of working with complex cases in the field of Learning Disability
and/or Autism. The ability to be an autonomous practitioner, manage a
clinical caseload and provide clinical oversight of all cases within the
service are essential as is the ability to work in partnership with other
organisations.
Applicants will be subject
to a 2-stage selection process and must be available for both of the following
dates:06/08/25 9.30am-11.30am and 07/08/25 AM. The first
is to attend a peer led Forum with people who use our services at Val
Waterhouse Centre. If successful following the first stage of the
selection process, you will be invited for a panel interview the following day
at Val Waterhouse Centre on 07/08/25.
