Job summary

Community Inpatient Unit provides Rehabilitation, Re-ablement and recovery interventions for adults in North East Lincolnshire. The service will promote faster recovery from illness, prevent unnecessary acute hospital admissions and premature admissions to long-term care, support timely discharge from hospital and maximise independent living wherever possible. Multi-professional staff will collaborate with individuals to ensure they achieve their full potential in terms of their level of independence, health, and wellbeing.

Job title: Clinical Specialist Practitioner

Department: Community Inpatient Unit

Hours: 37.5 Permanent

Salary Range 7 £48,480 - £58,178 per annum

We are seeking a highly motivated, passionate and committed Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join the multidisciplinary team at Community inpatient Unit (CIU) within CPG. The post will be based at the CIU and will oversee the safe and effective Nursing oversight, ensuring the service meets the Care Quality Commission Essential Standards. The post holder will work alongside the Unit manager and lead on the review, development, implementation of service strategies including completion of audits, action plans, Incident reviews and quality assurance.

  • Advanced clinical assessment skills, with the ability to recognise and respond to acute and chronic medical conditions.
  • Proficient in interpreting ECGs, echocardiograms, and other diagnostic tools
  • Effective IT skills including use of M365 applications, including but not limited to Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Word
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Excellent, time management, organisational skills and the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Strong effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with patients and multidisciplinary teams
