Job summary
Care Plus Group Primary Care practices
provides the first point of contact for registered patients accessing the
health care service. The service will work collaboratively with patients to
assist them in managing and preventing illnesses and coordinating access to
specialised care.
The Care Plus Group Primary Care practices,
Open Door and Quayside, provide services for a client group with a range of
diverse and sometimes complex needs including substance misuse, homelessness,
mental health problems and self-neglect.

Main duties of the job
Job Title: Healthcare Assistant
Department: CPG Primary Care
Hours: 22.5 Permanent
£23,875 Pro Rata Per Annum
The HCA will undertake a range of delegated clinical roles as agreed by the registered nurses and General Manager including regular computer skills along with the ability to organise and prioritise a varied workload are necessary. The post holder will also be required to act in a professional manner at all times and adhere to practice policies, protocols and guidelines.
As part of the
nursing team you will be employed to undertake a range of clinical, duties, work
alongside other members of both the practice and wider PCN nursing team
You will be expected to undertake a
range of clinical task including health checks, suture removal, Phelbotomoy,
vaccinations, ECGS, Spirometry including undertaking home visits and working in
an outreach role.
In return you will be part of a

receive regular support and access to on going training.
