Job summary
CPGs CIU Rehab, Re-enablement and Recovery unit is a bed-based
facility supporting people to recover and regain their independence following a
period of illness, trauma, surgery, or significant event. It supports hospital
discharges, prevents admission to hospital or long-term care and promotes
independent living. Its a multi-disciplinary service with Nurses,
Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapist, Social Workers and Care Staff.

Main duties of the job
Job title: Lead Nurse
Department: Community Inpatient Unit
Hours: 37.5 Permanent
Salary Range 7 £43,906 - £50,112 per annum
We
are seeking a highly motivated, passionate and committed Lead Nurse to join the
multidisciplinary team at Community inpatient Unit (CIU) within CPG. The post
will be based at the CIU and will oversee the safe and
effective Nursing oversight, ensuring the service meets the Care Quality
Commission Essential Standards. The Post holder will lead
and manage a team of Nurses including all aspects of recruitment, supervision,
probation reviews, disciplinaries, staff risk assessments, PDRs etc. The post holder will also lead on the review, development, implementation
of service strategies including completion of audits, action plans, Incident
reviews and quality assurance.
