Job summary

Care Plus Group Primary Care practices provides the first point of contact for registered patients accessing the health care service. The service will work collaboratively with patients to assist them in managing and preventing illnesses and coordinating access to specialised care. In addition CPG Primary care is part of one of the Local Primary Care Networks (PCN) working in partnership with other practices to offer neighbourhood care across a large footprint.

The Care Plus Group Primary Care practices, Open Door and Quayside, provide services for a client group with a range of diverse and sometimes complex needs including substance misuse, homelessness, mental health problems and self-neglect.

Please note that Care Plus Group Primary Care is not currently registered to sponsor applicants from outside the EU and EEA.

Main duties of the job

Practice Nurse

30 hours per week

Temporary to cover Maternity Leave for a year

Mondays, Tuesday and Thursdays 8.00 am 6.30pm

£34,322 pro rata per annum you will be appointed on a fixed salary point

We are looking for a practice nurse to work in conjunction with other healthcare professionals within a range of primary care facilities to assess and deliver a wide range of primary care nursing duties including venepuncture, wound care, cervical smears, suture removal, vaccinations and provide health advice.
