Job summary
Are you a student due to qualify in 2023? Are you qualified and looking to develop skills in a new area or looking for a new challenge? Are you looking to return to practice?
You will need a BSc/MSc Physiotherapy/Occupational Therapy and to be registered with the HCPC or an undergraduate nearing course completion.
We provide person centred support to vulnerable adults requiring specialist therapy input within the area. We have a number of therapy rotations, each area allowing for specialist development and unique opportunities to contribute to our therapy team. Please see additional information for more details.
Rotational areas include:
- Adult Learning Disability
- HOPE Specialist Falls and Respiratory Service
- Intermediate Care @ Home
- Community urgent care team
- Moving and handling
- Community In-patient Unit
All areas have highly skilled practitioners who place the individual at the forefront of their care and promote faster recovery from illness, prevent unnecessary acute hospital admissions and premature admissions to long-term care, support timely discharge from hospital and maximise independent living wherever possible. This is achievable through creative and unique interventions within each rotational area. Multi-professional staff collaborate with individuals to ensure they achieve their full potential in terms of their level of independence, health and wellbeing.

Based at various locations across North East Lincolnshire, depending on rotations

37.5 hours per week
Salary Range 5: £27,100 - £31,420 per annum
The Rotational Therapy posts do not currently include on-call duties.
We are looking for enthusiastic and dynamic Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists to join our well-established therapy teams in North East Lincolnshire, this is a great opportunity for those newly qualified or those who want to gain skills in a community environment.
You will be expected to provide a high standard of practice undertaking all aspects of clinical duties as an autonomous practitioner.
You will liaise with the wider MDT and participate in the provision at each rotation in a variety of locations with the community, including home visits and group settings, providing an effective rehabilitation and discharge preparation service.
You will manage a defined caseload of patients using evidence based/patient-centered principles to assess, plan, implement and evaluate interventions, including discharge planning.
