Job summary
The Community Inpatient Unit provides Rehabilitation, Re-ablement and recovery interventions for adults in North East Lincolnshire. The service will promote faster recovery from illness, prevent unnecessary acute hospital admissions and premature admissions to long-term care, support timely discharge from hospital and maximise independent living wherever possible. Multi-professional staff will collaborate with individuals to ensure they achieve their full potential in terms of their level of independence, health, and wellbeing

Hours: 37.5 hours per week negotiable
Rota pattern: You will be required to work as part of a rota including working weekends and bank holidays

Salary Range 2 £20,702 (Under 23), £21,190 (Over 23) per annum fixed salary point
We are looking for a Cook to work as part of our catering team to plan prepare and provide nutritional, well balanced meals for patients, Including preparing some specialised diets . You will work under the direction of the Lead Cook and as part of a wider catering team so we are looking for someone who works well within a team with excellent communication skills.
Duties include planning of menus to make choices available, taking into account any special dietary requirements; in the absence of the Lead Cook you will be responsible for ordering and safe storage of stock and stock rotation. You will also be responsible for ensuring work surfaces and areas are maintained in a hygienic state of a high standard.
You will provide supervision and direction to catering assistants in the safe running of the kitchen during each shift.
Ideally we are looking for someone who has production chef level 2 or equivalent and Basic Food Hygiene Certificate with experience of working within a busy kitchen, however we do offer a range of training opportunities.
