7 - Centre Lead Physio to join our team embarking on a rewarding journey of

Main duties of the job
- To assess and treat patients with a wide range
of conditions, who may have complex and/or chronic presentation and to
determine clinical diagnosis and plan physiotherapy programmes and
management plans. To maintain
records, written and electronic, as an autonomous practitioner.
- To provide Physiotherapy assessment and
treatment where required.
- To take responsibility for an area/centre as
designated on a day to day basis ensuring service delivery is in line with
the performance indicators agreed by the Board. This includes health and
safety aspects and associated risk assessments.
- To take responsibility for junior staff,
students, volunteers and support staff working within the team, including
case and work load allocation, appraisal and clinical and managerial
supervision.
- To manage the performance of staff, and to
actively manage talent in order to create career paths and succession
plans
- To manage sickness absences, both
operationally and in the case of prolonged absences, individually
- To be responsible for the cost management of a
centre or centres, managing to allocated budgets for resources and
facilities.

Essential
- HCPC registered physiotherapist
- Physiotherapy qualification equivalent to MCSP
- Evidence of relevant validated clinical post graduate training
Experience
Essential
- A minimum of 4 years post graduate experience as a physiotherapist demonstrating a high level of clinical experience
- A minimum of 2 years post registration experience in musculo-skeletal physiotherapy.
- Experience of supervision of staff and students
- Involvement in the planning, development and implementation of out-patient physiotherapy services
- Involvement in the audit process
Desirable
- Experience in business management, preparation of development bids,
- CSP registered or evidence of have their own personal liability insurance arrangements
- Experience of recruitment and selection.
