Job summary

A fantastic and exciting opportunity has arisen to become a member of our HR Systems Team as a Senior eRostering Administrator.

The successful candidate will be joining the team at a key time during Sironas roll out of Optima, and will be responsible for providing an effective, customer focused support service, assisting with the designing and building of electronic rosters, as well as delivering formal and adhoc training on the system.

The HR Systems Team, work in conjunction with ESR, and there will be the opportunity to learn and have a greater understanding of ESR and provide support to the ESR Team as and when required.

This role would be perfect for an eRostering Administrator, looking for the opportunity to develop their skill set by diving into the world of designing and building electronic rosters, delivering training, and developing and improving our current training programme.

The Senior eRoster Administrator would be joining the HR Systems team, which sits within our wider People and Development team and is made up of E-Rostering and ESR subject matter experts. We are a small team of currently 10 and are committed to making Sironas HR systems and practices industry leading while also being supportive of each other and having fun in the process.

The role is a hybrid working position and the successful candidate would be expected to work in one of our offices at least one day a week, but also travel across BNSSG wide to deliver and assist with training.

Main duties of the job

The eRostering Senior Administrator will assist the Senior eRostering System Lead to administer and maintain the eRostering system, ensuring accuracy, functionality and performance, as well as providing escalated support and advice to all staff and managers as required following escalation by the IT Services Helpdesk.

The post-holder will configure, implement and roll-out of E-Rostering system developments across the whole of the organisation. They will assist / deliver eRostering training via a range of delivery methods, and complete end user acceptance testing for upgrades of the system and provide users with relevant information or changes to the system.

The post holder will be required to work independently without continuous direct supervision, seeking advice and support as appropriate from the Senior eRoster Lead. They must maintain high data quality and confidentiality within all IT systems utilised.
