A fantastic opportunity to develop and build on your leadership skills - as International Workforce Lead within the Workforce Education & Development Team at Sirona CIC, the provider of innovative high-quality specialist community health and social care services across Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire.

We are seeking an inspired and motivated Nurse or AHP to lead on the delivery of the education and quality portfolio for international recruitment.

This includes providing strong leadership for the delivery of education programmes, advising on international recruitment and immigration, leading on recruitment campaigns with our recruitment partners and overseeing the pastoral care of international nurses across the organisation.

We are looking someone who has a calming influence and the ability to make rational decisions in the face of adversity. With significant experience in recruitment and workforce development and a strong and engaging style in communication, you will carry a natural flair in leadership, dedicated and passionate to patient care with vast experience of successfully managing the implementation of change in a large and complex organisation.

Strong analytical thinking with the ability to consider the wider picture will also be key and integral to your success, alongside possession of exceptional negotiation and influencing skills.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will lead on the design, development and delivery of an education and development framework that supports new NMC and HCPC registrants (new to UK Nursing and Allied Health models of care) to transition/adapt into their new roles, developing a cycle of continuous learning that supports continuing professional development (CPD) and progression pathways.

The post holder will act as an expert on international and domestic recruitment and best practice advising on international recruitment and immigration, leading on recruitment campaigns with our recruitment partners and overseeing the pastoral care of international Nurses and AHPs across Sirona.

The post holder will support the development of new approaches to international recruitment for Sirona and will share best practice across our Integrated Care System

The post holder will be responsible for direct line management of the International Recruitment Education team and contribute to the ongoing development of clinical practice, research, and standards of care within the service, as well as policies, protocols, guidelines, and service developments.
