A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Advanced Practice Lead with Sirona CIC, the provider of innovative high-quality specialist community health and social care services across Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire.
The Advanced Clinical Practice Lead will work effectively alongside the senior clinical leadership team, to lead the development and implementation of advanced practice education and roles across the organisation; and develop, lead, and implement a multi professional organisational advanced practice policy and strategy aligned to Sironas strategic workforce plan.
The post holder will work to proactively influence regional and national priorities related to advanced clinical practice; ensuring that appropriate frameworks for guidance, clinical governance, competency assessment and continuing education are in place for both the development of trainee and advanced practitioners.
Clinical leadership and support for Advanced Practice within AHP and Nursing teams will be central to the role and play a key lead role in the strategic development and evaluation of advanced practice across both the local integrated care system (ICS) and at regional and national levels. The post holder will also provide highly specialised expert advice, education, consultancy, and clinical expertise.

Main duties of the job
The postholder will be responsible
for providing expert advice and the formulation of strategic and operational
plans and policies, to support our highly skilled advanced practitioner
workforce to continue to develop and work effectively to meet the needs of the
population we serve.
They will work collaboratively with internal
and external, organisational, regional and national stakeholders and lead on
the development of the Sironas Advanced Practice Strategy and governance
framework.
The post holder will maintain a
highly visible presence acting as a role-model in enabling collaborative care
delivery and providing coaching and guidance to Sironas advanced practitioner
and aspiring advanced practitioner workforce.
In addition, they will lead on the
evolving programme of advanced practice from training through to senior
clinical level of practice across Sironas range of Adults, Children and
Specialist community health and care services.
They will be a highly skilled
Advanced Practitioner, have a MSc Advanced Practice or equivalent, be an
excellent communicator and have experience in leading, managing, influencing
and inspiring staff, negotiation, collaboration and delivering significant
change projects.
