Parents need to be able to rest, our Lifetime support workers work within the family’s home, overnight taking over responsibility for the child whilst parents sleep.
As a member of the Lifetime service, you will support the registered nurses in the delivery of care to our service users in the community and contribute towards the safe and seamless delivery of holistic care, working safely within your scope of practice and competence at all times.
You will follow a range of important but simple tasks to support each individual with personal care and with other practical and therapeutic support that will be set out in their care plans – every child has their own specific care needs so you will gain experience caring for a wide variety of health needs and specialised equipment.
