Job summary

The Deputy Chief People Officer is a pivotal member of the senior People Directorate, leads the organisations approach to human resources and plays a key role in leading the delivery of Sirona's people strategy.

This role will support the development and leadership of the People function and lead the transformation of the HR function. The role will lead initiatives to develop high levels of workforce engagement and performance, particularly focused on our EDI agenda improving diversity within our workforce and improving the working experience for our staff.

Main duties of the job

This role will report to the Chief People Officer (CPO) and play a pivotal role in the transformation and improvement of Sirona through our people.

The post holder will be leading the implementation of the People Strategy and developing and implementing the strategic workforce plan to ensure these are directly linked to the Sirona's strategic objectives. It will deputise for the Chief People Officer internally and externally to ensure our strategic ambitions are achieved.

You will lead, inspire, and develop our professional HR service, promote our values and behaviours, and champion our commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion. You will have a clear remit for transformation and improvement of our people related practices with significant exposure to Sirona's Executive leadership team, Board, and external partners across our local system, and you will be required to deputise for the CPO.
