Job summary
Sirona Care & Health has formed a partnership with Avon & Wiltshire Partnership Mental health NHS Trust to deliver Childrens Services within Bristol, South Gloucestershire and North Somerset. The strength of our partnership is that together we have huge experience of providing large scale children's services; working with families and communities to ensure a joined up approach, and working locally with strong connections and relationships with a wide range of commissioners and other provider organisations, which gives us a strong foundation on which to build further
The post is due to commence as soon as possible. As one of a team of 19 Consultants, 4 Specialty Doctors (including this post) 1 Associate Doctor and 2 Clinical Fellows across Bristol, South Gloucestershire and North Somerset, the successful applicant will join the North Somerset team of 3 Consultants and 1 Clinical Fellow based at Drove Road, Weston.
There is a well-established programme of CPD and child protection peer review.
Full Registration with the GMC is essential. At least 4 years of postgraduate training with at least 2 years in relevant post for this position is essential. The Organisation has teaching status and is linked with the University of Bristol and the University of the West of England.
Experience and familiarity with UK hospital systems and practices or equivalent is essential. The successful candidate will be employed under Terms & Conditions of Service for Consultants (England) 2003.
