Job summary

Sirona care & health are looking for an enthusiastic, self motivated and organised Project Support Manager to join our Specialist Advice and Support Service!

The role is based at New Friends Hall, Stapleton, Bristol, BS16 1EQ & is a fixed term post for 1 year.

Both full time and part time applications are welcomed.

You will work closely with managers, clinical and operational leads to provide robust co-ordination across various projects and strategic planning functions. You will provide dedicated programme, project and administrative support to ensure the team delivers the required outputs.

You will undertake tasks in support of all aspects of project management, contributing to the operation of a well-functioning Programme Management, including maintenance of the project library, dedicated PPM system and related process and resources.

Main duties of the job

  • Provide day-to-day organisational planning support to a range of projects (work-streams) within the Community Respiratory Team.
  • Create project plan resources including the preparation, updating, and monitoring of all standardised project documentation Project Initiation Document, RAID Log, Gantt Chart, Project Closure etc.
  • Maintaining project team task and action logs helping to ensure that tasks are completed in accordance with the project timescales and project plan.
  • Arranging and supporting project meetings to ensure focus on the project objectives, timescales, and deliverables are met- preparing agendas, relevant papers for project meetings and taking minutes and following up on agreed actions.
  • Monitoring project risks and issues by way of analysis and where these are not being resolved, reporting these to the relevant Manager and/or escalating to the Operational Lead.
  • Providing specialist technical support to all key stakeholders on project management, along with supporting the delivery of training in the systems and processes used.
  • Liaising with the Team lead and the Operational Lead to ensure good communication strategies are in place to inform all stakeholders about the project.
  • Provides relevant and timely specialist project management advice and guidance on functional and information matters, inclusive of presenting to key stakeholder audiences as required.

Essential

  • Diploma in Business administration or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge or experience to degree level equivalent
  • Qualification in programme/project and/or change management/transformation or willingness to train.
  • Evidence of continuous personal and professional development.
  • Hold a UK Driving Licence and have access to a vehicle during working hours.

Desirable

  • Knowledge of local, national, strategic, and operational policy developments and an awareness of their implications.
  • Understanding of the interfaces between Primary Care, Community Care, Acute Care, Local Authorities and the Voluntary, Charitable and Social Enterprise Sector (VCSE).

  • Ability to provide and receive complex, sensitive, or contentious information and present this in an easy-to-understand format.
  • Act as an expert within the specialism of programme support
  • Use of Microsoft Office with a competent level of keyboard skills.
