Job summary
Are you passionate about children's health outcomes and your local community?
We have an opportunity for motivated Health Visitors to join our welcoming and supportive team in Bristol.
Through the delivery of an equitable service that challenges the wider determinants of health and health inequalities, we strive to improve the health of the children and families in our communities.
Our Health Visiting teams work within diverse populations and health needs across North Bristol, South Bristol and East Bristol.You will have the opportunity to contribute to our evidence-based practice groups for each of the 6 Early Years Public Health Priorities, as well as working to develop and strengthen our collaborations with Public Health Bristol and Early Years Services.
You will deliver care in the home as well as clinic and community settings therefore you must be organised, able to prioritise and manage your time.

Main duties of the job
As part of the Health Visiting team you will deliver the service offer outlined in the current Health Visiting Service specification.
You will confidently articulate the service vision (Healthy Child Programme) and underpinning evidence particularly with stakeholders, families and partners.
You will work collaboratively with other agencies to promote health and well-being and improve early identification of need and risks to child outcomes. You will then facilitate access to additional support.
