This
is an exciting opportunity for an experienced clinical leader and manager to

With
the progression of Neighbourhood teams, community services are needing to
adapt and evolve, to better meet the needs of their local residents. The
successful candidate will have an opportunity to inform and shape the
development of this role and the connection to services within the wider
Adult community Services portfolio.
Main duties of the job
The postholder will be responsible for the line management of lead staff within the services, and will hold and be responsible for the service budgets. They will participate in and lead designated service improvements and system wide projects.

Job responsibilities
The Service Manager is a key member of the Adult Community Services leadership team, reporting into the Associate Director of Operational Delivery Place Based Services. They will be responsible for ensuring the provision of high quality and effective care within their service areas. They will work with the AD to deliver the agreed strategic direction of their service portfolio. The post holder is responsible for the delivery of all performance metrics and KPIs (Quality, Operational and Financial) within their services, proactively identifying exceptions and developing remedial plans with clinical leads. The post holder will be responsible for ensuring CQC regulatory requirements are maintained.
The post holder will hold a defined portfolio of services and will work with the AD to review and redesign the relevant place-based services, including demand and capacity and productivity elements, to ensure they are meeting local need and are aligned to the Integrated Neighbourhood Teams across east Surrey. A key component of the role will be to work across services to transform the delivery of community health services in line with the NHS direction of travel toward more care delivered closer to home and in neighbourhood footprints. The post holder will need to be flexible and adaptable in their approach given the changing nature of community health services delivery and, part of the role will be to support the development and operational management of one of east Surreys Integrated Neighbourhood Teams.
