looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic and innovative dietitian with excellent
communication skills and knowledge to join our vibrant teams.
The role will
be based across the following prisons;
HMP;
Coldingley (Woking), Send (Woking), DownView and Highdown (Banstead) and Bronzefield
(Ashford, Surrey).
First
Dietitians and CNWL are committed to service development through public
involvement, quality improvement and innovative new service models.
There is a
strong focus on health promotion and disease prevention work and an opportunity
to influence catering and food provision working with other members of the
wider MDT.

Main duties of the job
You will
manage a varied case load of adult patients from disordered eating, diabetes,
weight management and pregnancy to end of life care. This is an excellent
opportunity to develop your knowledge and dietetic skills in a variety of
clinical specialisms with scope to develop this growing service.
We
are a friendly team of 20 dietitians, 3 dietetic assistants and 2
administrators delivering services across East Surrey and parts of West
Sussex.

Essential
- BSc (Hons) Nutrition & Dietetics or equivalent.
- HCPC registration

- BDA membership
- Evidence of Continual Professional Development through approved courses and other relevant activities
Experience

- At least 4 years post graduate clinical experience
- Understanding the importance of effective multi-disciplinary working
- Experience in training/teaching other health professionals
Desirable
- Dietetic student training: supervision, assessment, training and programme development
Skills

- Ability to work effectively autonomously and as part of a team with excellent communication, liaison, negotiation and influencing skills
- Ability to assess and treat adult clients and evaluate dietetic intervention across a range of clinical needs
