Job summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join our busy ICATS admin team. You should be able to use your own initiative, enjoy dealing with the public and working under pressure as part of a friendly team, providing reception and administrative support at Oxted Therapies Unit.
Please note interviews are planned for 1 May.
Main duties of the job
Duties are interesting and varied and include booking appointments, dealing with telephone and email enquiries from patients and GPs, inputting and retrieval of data from a computerised booking system, as well as general office duties.
Your responsibilities will involve working on reception meeting and greeting patients and visitors to the unit, and covering our telephone booking system, therefore excellent customer service skills are essential. You will also be responsible for uploading information onto our computerised notes system and answering email queries from team members, patients and GP practice staff; therefore you will need to be computer literate and confident in the use of IT but full training on in-house systems will be given.
This post is primarily based at Oxted Therapies Unit and will involve Thursday evening work, until 19:00, on a shared rota, approximately once a month. The opening hours of the Unit the rest of the week are 08:00-17:00. To ensure that there is admin cover during these times we work a rota system for the admin team, which you will be expected to follow. We are currently undergoing an Estates review and it is likely that the primary base for this role will change to Redhill in late 2024.
