Job summary
First Community Health and Care (FCHC) is an expanding and exciting social enterprise and employer in the East Surrey region. We provide a range of NHS, community health and social care services across East Surrey.
We have an immediate need for a dynamic highly motivated, organised, and enthusiastic Clinical Pharmacists to join our innovative multidisciplinary team to provide integrated care and clinical pharmacy support to our community team. Eligible candidate must have minimum of 2 years hospital inpatient ward experience.
- Hours of work are Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm.
- No weekend,
- No on-call,
- No late-night duties,
- Opportunity to develop skills, do research, and innovative work.

Main duties of the job
The post
holder is responsible for:
1.
To support the Head of Medicines
Management in developing the specialist clinical pharmacy service to wards and
community team, in line with local and national standards and policies,
ensuring the safe, clinical, and cost-effective use of medicines and staff
resources.
2.
Support other healthcare staff in
meeting risk management, financial management and clinical governance
responsibilities around the use of medicines.
3.
To undertake clinical supervision,
mentoring and ward-based assessments of placement and work experience student,
medicines management technicians and pre-registration pharmacists.
4.
To carry out clinical pharmacy
audit and practice research in conjunction with the Head of Medicines
Management.
5.
To provide leadership and manage
medicines related task/incident for inpatient ward and community teams
especially with Controlled Drug
