First Community Health and Care

Clerical Officer

Information:

This job is now closed

Job summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join our busy ICATS admin team. You should be able to use your own initiative, enjoy dealing with the public and working under pressure as part of a friendly team, providing reception and administrative support at Oxted Therapies Unit.

Please note interviews will be held on Thursday 1 February.

Main duties of the job

Duties are interesting and varied and include booking appointments, dealing with telephone enquiries from patients and GPs, inputting and retrieval of data from a computerised booking system, as well as general office duties.

Your responsibilities will involve working on reception meeting and greeting patients and visitors to the unit, and covering our telephone booking system, therefore excellent customer service skills are essential. You will need to be computer literate but full training on in-house systems will be given as appropriate.

This post is primarily based at Oxted Therapies Unit and will involve Thursday evening work on a shared rota, approximately once a month.

We are currently undergoing an Estates review and it is likely that the primary base for this role will change to Redhill in late 2024.
