As the subject matter expert in workforce equality and inclusion matters, you will work with stakeholders internally and externally to identify and implement changes to make a real difference to the lived experiences of our workforce and help achieve our strategic objectives. You will build on work that has been started and to ensure that the equality agenda is mainstreamed into all areas of activity. You will also be responsible for ensuring the organisation meets its statutory obligations in line with current equality legislation and best practice

Main duties of the job
Reporting to the Head of HR, you will be responsible for:
• Leading the workforce elements of equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI) agenda for the organisation, including contributing to the People Plan.
• Produce statutory and other required EDI reports
• Work with other teams to ensuring communication, campaigns, training, policy development and process changes related to EDI are planned and implemented to achieve required outcomes. For example, inclusive recruitment and career development.
• Reviewing and analysing workforce EDI data and metrics to derive insights and generate action plans.
• Build relationships and engage with a range of internal and external stakeholders.

The post holder will provide high levels of expertise and specialist knowledge to ensure that the organisation is compliant with its statutory duties, including the corporate objectives.
