Main duties of the job

In this role, you will support the smooth running of the organisations mobile technology by helping staff with everyday device issues, keeping accurate records of equipment, and ensuring assets are deployed and used effectively. You will also collaborate with users and external suppliers to resolve basic technical problems, assist with small IT tasks, and contribute to wider team activities that keep systems reliable and staff supported.

  • Any IT related qualifications

  • Computer literate with excellent working knowledge of word processing, database and spreadsheet packages including Word and Excel

  • Analytical and good planning skills
  • Good problem-solving ability
  • Effective communication skills.

Desirable

  • Hands on Skills in replacing computer parts.
  • Ability for learning how to use new hardware and software quickly.
  • Interest in modern technology and IT in general.

Experience

  • Analysing spreadsheets and presenting information to people in an understandable format
  • General office administration
  • Some experience of IT or technology support

  • NHS/ health services experience.
