Job summary

An opportunity for 22.5 hours per week has arisen for a motivated and experienced RGN to undertake a 6 month secondment to the role of Ward Matron at Caterham Dene Hospital.

This secondment provides an excellent and exciting opportunity to develop your leadership and operational management skills. Full support, mentoring and appropriate training will be provided to enhance this opportunity.

Main duties of the job

The role involves the day to day running of our 28 bedded Intermediate Care Ward. You will undertake a Senior Nursing role within the multidisciplinary team to promote the health, wellbeing and rehabilitation of patients. You will ensure that patients receive a high standard patient centred nursing care that is safe effective and evidence based.
