Job summary

Due to successfully securing funding to increase our offer to Perinatal patients we are excited to advertise this B6 specialist role. We are looking to recruit an experienced physiotherapist to join our growing Pelvic Health team.

The successful applicant will be an experienced physiotherapist with a passion for treating Pelvic Health patients and perinatal patients who may also have associated musculoskeletal conditions. Experience in treating this cohort of patients is desirable but not essential.

Main duties of the job

We are looking for:

  • A flexible and motivated individual who is keen to help develop an existing service.
  • Somone with some skills in treatment of Perinatal and Pelvic Health patients with a desire to develop these skills in a nurturing and supportive environment.

Continued professional and personal development is strongly encouraged and the post holder will be part of an active in-service training programme.

  • Treating a mixed caseload of Pelvic Health outpatients presenting with Pelvic Floor Dysfunction and perinatal patients with musculoskeletal conditions, including patients who may also present with significant physical impairments and psychological issues.
  • Providing a high standard of clinical work which will also include teaching and the supervision of junior staff, assistants and students.
  • Deputising for the Clinical Specialist in Pelvic Health.
