An exciting
opportunity has arisen within First Community Health and Care to
join the Children, Young People and Families Service clinical operational team.
We are seeking an enthusiastic, dynamic and motivated registered Nurse
or Allied Health Professional to lead and manage the Childrens, Young People
and Families services (including 0-19, Immunisations and Childrens Therapy
services).
Please note that interviews will take place week commencing 25 November 2024.
Main duties of the job
You will work alongside other Service Managers and the Associate Directors to further develop our services, formulating operational and strategic delivery plans for your defined portfolio of services. You will be responsible for ensuring the provision of high quality and effective care within your service areas and will be a crucial leader within CFHS partnership and the wider system, presenting First Community as a collaborative and innovative partner.

Job responsibilities
The post holder is
a key member of the Children, Young People and Families team reporting to the
Associate Director for Children, Young People and Families and is responsible
for the leadership and management of the Childrens Therapies, Immunisations and
0-19 services. Working in partnership with other Service Managers, Associate
Directors, the Chief Operating Officer and the wider Senior Leadership Team,
the Service manager will formulate the operational delivery plans for their
defined portfolio of services and be responsible for ensuring the provision of
high quality and effective care within their service areas. They will work with
the Associate Director to deliver the agreed strategic direction of their
service portfolio. The post holder is responsible for the delivery of all
performance metrics and KPIs (Quality, Operational and Financial) targets
within their services, proactively identifying exceptions and developing
remedial plans with service leads and clinicians. The post holder will be
responsible for ensuring CQC regulations are adhered to.
Working in
partnership with commissioners and other partner agencies, the Service Manager
will provide multi-agency services that achieve the best possible outcomes for
service users. The Service Manager will also play a key role in developing
service provision that is configured around Primary Care Network (PCN)
footprints and work closely with the Service Manager for PCN.
The post holder
will be crucial in further building relationships within PCNs and the wider
system, presenting First Community as a collaborative and innovative partner
that models our priorities of; - 1. People 2.
System 3. Organisation.
The post holder
will also be required to participate in the Operational Manager on-call rota.
