Job summary
The postholder will make a significant difference to our clients and our staff. Depending on the area they work, a volunteer will undertake a variety of activities including helping to signpost, talking to patients, and supporting our Health Visiting and School Nursing teams.
No experience is needed to be a volunteer however, due to the differing needs of staff and patients, it is essential you behave in a respectful and compassionate manner whilst always maintaining responsibility.
If you are looking to expand your skillset and gain valuable experience for your CV, volunteering can really help. Being a volunteer in the NHS is a rewarding opportunity. This opportunity is for a minimum of 4 hours per week for at least 6 months.
