CSH Surrey provides community healthcare services across a range of sites in Surrey.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and highly motivated individual to work within our Strategic Programme Management Office, as part of the wider Digital team, in the role of Project Manager.
The role will require the post-holder to utilise robust project management skills to deliver a wide range of projects and implement service improvements, covering both clinical and enabling services, in support of our Strategic Delivery Plan.
Ideally we are looking for someone with experience of delivering projects within a healthcare environment. It is essential that applicants can apply their project management skills to engage, inspire and and deliver projects across a number of different specialities.

Principal
duties to include:
- To provide
support to the Head of SPMO, Associate Directors,
senior leaders and Executive team as required to deliver organisational change
to improve service and quality.
- To be
responsible for the effective management and execution of projects and/or programmes within
CSH using defined and rigorous project management methodologies so that they
are led, managed, and successfully completed.
- To be
responsible and proactive for the day-to-day management of projects;
prioritising tasks based on risk, resource, cost and project targets ensuring
project leads, sponsors and stakeholders are engaged.
- To build strong
relationships with colleagues and key influencers within the organisations to
facilitate change.
- To attend
relevant meetings, and ensure they are accurately recorded; following up
actions with other key internal colleagues to ensure progress is reported across
various governance forums.
- To prepare
highlight reports for the Strategic Delivery Group and other governance forums ensuring
papers are written, proofed for accuracy and completeness, and delivered on
time for preparation for meetings.
- To support the
development of new processes and documentation which support the definition and
delivery of the SPMO portfolio of projects.
- To deal with
financial, resourcing and procurement queries for projects and proactively
follow up and track progress to ensure a speedy resolution to issues

- Academic qualification to Degree level Knowledge of project management acquired through Prince 2 Practitioner or equivalent work experience.
Desirable
- Post graduate training and experience in a job related subject to masters or equivalent level.

- Knowledge and experience of working in an NHS environment
- In depth experience of project management in a complex environment with major change / service improvement preparing, implementing and delivering to specification, benefits, time and budget

- Ability to learn from best practice
