Job summary

This is an exciting time at NWS Alliance as we begin a transformational programme of service delivery across North West Surrey. The overriding purpose is to support the provision of the highest quality care for residents of North West Surrey through personal actions and continuous improvement. The Director of Rehabilitation and System Flow will be a member of the NWS Alliance leadership delivery team with responsibility for the overall strategic direction and performance of the System Flow Business Unit.

This opportunity is open to staff currently working within one of the North West Surrey Alliance Partners. This is a new opportunity and whilst this post has been banded at Band 9, there is scope to consider a development opportunity for the right candidate, which would include a salary offered at Band 8D (relevant JD will be shared when required), dependent on knowledge, skills and experience and we would welcome applications from those looking for a development role.

Main duties of the job

The Director will be responsible for strategic leadership of staff within the System Flow Business Unit with primary responsibility for successful relationships with key stakeholders with a united vision for improving the health and wellbeing of the local population.

This individual will function as the line manager for senior leaders within the Business Unit, a domain that includes those employed within other Alliance partners. Integral to the Directors responsibilities will be the establishment and nurturing of robust professional relationships with a wide spectrum of both internal and external stakeholders. Demonstrating a judicious approach, the Director will maintain overarching fiscal oversight and responsibility for budgets across all services within the Business Unit.
