Job summary

CSH Surrey are inviting applications for Sponsorship leading to a PG Dip/BSc (Hons)/MSc NMC Specialist Practice Award (District Nursing) This is a one-year full time programme.

It involves taught components at The University of Surrey (Guildford) and a clinical placement within CSH Surrey. Applicants will have completed a bachelors degree or have recently studied at FEHQ level 6 and have completed a supervisor and assessor module at level 6.

Students will need to be entered on parts one or two of the NMC professional register and will normally have at least two years postregistration experience.

The student will be paid at Band 6 per agenda for change rates for 2023/23 -£35,391 - £42,503 inclusive of 5% high-cost area supplement.

A valid licence to drive in the UK with access to a vehicle for business use is essential for this role.

  • Supervising / teaching / assessing experience
  • Evidence of professional development
  • Demonstrable evidence of service improvement / implementing local change
  • Good knowledge of health and safety / risk management
  • Clinical audit and why this is important
  • Understanding of health care policy and how these impacts on District Nursing
  • Computer literate and able to use Word, emails etc
