Children and Family Health Surrey provides a dynamic and forward thinking community OT service, we are seeking to recruit to a post that will offer the opportunity to blend community and School Based practice, under the guidance of lead OTs who are directly involved with the RCOT & CYPF. Main duties of the job
The post will have a strong emphasis on development and regular supervision will be made available as will the opportunity to attend in-service as well as external training. The service has a strong focus on leadership and mentoring and also promotes peer supervision at all levels of experience. Therapists at CSH Surrey are encouraged to develop a broad skill mix as well as being able to focus on areas of interest in practice, engage in projects that support development of service pathways and review the use of evidence in practice.
Within easy reach of London, Surrey offers the balance between city and countryside all accessible via major road networks M25, M23, A3 and M3.
We welcome applications from qualified therapists with a Peadiactric background as well as those who are seeking a change of specialism, therefore experience of working with children is desirable but not essential.
This post will offer the successful candidates the opportunity to work alongside our supportive team of experienced therapists and assistants in providing a high quality occupation based provision to children aged 0-19 years, who have a variety of conditions, including Cerebral Palsy, Autistic Spectrum Disorders and learning difficulties.
