The Rosemary Foundation Hospice at Home is seeking an
Administrator to join our busy Administration team. As a vital member of the
team, you will contribute to the smooth running of our operations.
Main duties of the job
Support the Senior leadership team with diary
management, meeting preparation, taking minutes and general administration
support.
Provide administrative support to the Registered
Manager.
Maintain accurate records and databases,
ensuring compliance with data protection and charity regulations.
Liaise with volunteers, stakeholders and visitors
to the office with professionalism and empathy.
Be a key member of the Fundraising &
Operations team and be prepared to attend fundraising events as appropriate.
Work closely with the Volunteer Coordinators
ensuring the volunteer register is kept up to date, volunteering hours are
recorded, DBS checks are undertaken and new volunteers are onboarded
appropriately.
Be the H&S champion undertake weekly fire
alarm and emergency lighting checks and monthly premise checks.
Be responsible for general office housekeeping.
About us
The Rosemary Foundation Hospice at Home provides nurse-led
care for patients, as well as support for their carers, in their own home, as
life draws to a close.Whatever the condition and however long a
patient may have left to live, we offer personal care and emotional support to
the individual and their family for as long as it takes, whether that is days,
weeks or months.We then continue to support those left behind for
as long as they need us through our Bereavement and Counselling
service.All of our services are provided entirely free of charge.
We offer practical help, nursing care, emotional support and
counselling, alongside a day and night sitting service to provide respite for
the main carer and trained nurses available 24 hours a day.
As a patients condition deteriorates, care may be
increased, with nurses visiting several times a day, working alongside and in
close collaboration with primary care teams.
The Rosemary Foundation has now been in existence for
28 years.We have cared for over 4000 patients and supported their
families during this time, saving countless hospital admissions.
Based in Petersfield, we cover an approximate 15-mile
radius.Our patient numbers continue to increase year on year and
currently sit between 35 and 45 at any time with a waiting list.We
carry out over 8000 home visits each year and travel over 7000 miles per month.
