Job summary
We
have an exciting opportunity for a Senior / Specialist Speech and Language Therapist (SLT) to join
our supportive team and facilitate effective communication for all.
Working as part of the multi-disciplinary team within a school, the successful candidate will provide SLT services for children aged
3-19 with SLCN, learning disabilities and/or complex needs.
The
successful candidate will add to the current team within the school (which includes SLTs and SLTAs) and will work in
partnership with children, young people, their families and the children's
workforce. They will be supported by our wider team and will be able to shape
both the innovative services in SEN education and our organisation as a whole.
We are happy to receive applications from SLTs wanting to develop their skills over time with the support and training we provide.
We'd be equally happy to hear from SLTs with more specialist experience to help shape the services we deliver.

Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will support universal best practice within the school as a whole, undertake assessments and deliver interventions directly and through others. Depending on the skills, experience and motivation of the candidate, the role may involve supervising junior SLTs and SLTAs.
