You will also contribute towards practice financial stability through medicines optimisation and related QOF targets. The role includes training and developing practice-based administrative staff processing repeat prescriptions to support improved coordination and effective pharmacy administration in general practice, especially regarding repeat prescribing systems and processes.

We are looking to recruit an additional Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Durham Coast Primary Care Network which is formed of four member practices; East Durham Medical Group, Bevan Medical Group, Southdene Medical Centre and Wingate Medical Centre, together representing a population of over 33,000 patients.

Durham Coast PCN are committed to the ongoing development of our team, which includes mandatory and developmental training for all our staff. Team members are encouraged to highlight any training they feel would benefit them in the achievement of their role.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be mentored and upskilled working closely with practices across our network.
