Reporting to the Director
of Workforce this role will assist and support the HR Department in all of the day-to-day
work of the Human Resources department. The post holder will be working closely
alongside the Human Resources Administrator to ensure the best practices and
procedures are adhered to throughout the company.
Main duties of the job
To provide full spectrum human
resource support services to managers and staff.
To advise and support Badger
line managers in approach to the handling of discipline and grievance
procedures including during investigations.
To proactively manage family
leave (pregnancy, maternity, paternity, adoption, special parental leave).
To proactively monitor absence
management and work with senior managers to minimise absence.
To ensure that matters
relating to equality and diversity are addressed appropriately and meet current
legislative requirements.
Work with key stakeholders to identify and
manage recruitment and resourcing needs provide HR support during interviews,
oversee work experience candidates, ensuring the right people are selected and
a timely, efficient and effective resourcing service is delivered to the
business.
Work in partnership with managers to ensure
that new-starters and those individuals, either through upward or sideward
progression into new roles are supported and undergo an appropriate induction,
following in house guidelines.
Work in partnership with line managers ensuring
that employees personal development needs are met through appropriate
appraisal, induction, and coaching, mentoring, learning and development interventions.
To provide general HR advice
and guidance to line managers regarding HR policies and processes with regards
to recruitment and selection.

CIPD Qualified with generalist HR experience.

The key aspects of the roles
will be to support and work with Directors/senior staff on a wide range of HR
activities and projects, manage sensitive information, work closely with the
leadership team, as well as any other activities requested by the
Directors/senior staff.
