Cumbria Health is proud to provide primary health care services to the people of Cumbria, both in and out of hours.
We're looking for a highly motivated Finance Apprentice to support the
effective running of the Finance department in delivering its key core duties
covering sales and purchase ledger, financial control, administration and financial management.
This role will cover 37.5 hours per week (including 20% off-job learning). As part of this apprenticeship we can offer you a permanent role with Cumbria Health, whilst also being supported to complete the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT)
qualification.

Main duties of the job
As knowledge and
confidence develop, you will act as a key and proactive member of the
Finance Team to enable capacity to be flexed to meet the peaks in workload
across the department.
You will hold 5
GCSEs with a minimum grade 4 (or equivalent) including Maths and English.
You will possess
good organisational, time management and communication skills, as well as being
proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel.
The Finance Apprentice will be given the opportunity to develop new skills and
knowledge whilst working with an established team and will be supported to
complete the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) qualification.
You will actively
engage with all aspects of the study programme, submit assignments and complete exams, to the required standard within
the agreed deadlines.
